- PLANNING APPLICATION: C13/2771FUL – CHURCH COTTAGE, FRAMLINGHAM RD, DENNINGTON, WOODBRIDGE, SUFFOLK, IP13 8AD:
Ex window removed and replaced with door/windows
Ex windows that are rotten replaced with identical single glazed windows
Ex stud walls/ceiling erected in 1984 onwards removed and stud walls erected including one on the original planning permission line
Second floor roof timbers exposed over bathroom
Ex kitchen/utility units removed, external boiler fitted
After careful deliberation and study of the detailed plans, councillors unanimously approved this application.
5.CDC/13/2643/FUL – WYNNEYS HALL, SAXTEAD RD, DENNINGTON:
The construction of a raised timber tree house within the gardens of Wynneys Hall, Dennington.
After lengthy discussion and close inspection of the site plans and detailed drawings, councillors refused the application on the grounds of:
- The proposed site of the tree house is outside the curtilage of the garden/village
- The design is inappropriate
The Countryside policy regulation SP29 states No development in the Countryside other than special circumstances, ie linked to agriculture or forestry farm diversification schemes
This is clearly in the Countryside and well out of the Physical limits and on prime agricultural land albeit meadowland
6.ADDITIONAL COMMUNICATIONS:Update on Low Farm, Low Rd, Laxfield, wind turbine. The clerk has written to SCDC expressing concern about the lack of action regarding the infringement of the planning approval, and the complaint made August 2013. (There should be 2hrs during the summer months when the turbine is not operating. It is currently operating 24hrs a day)
