Thames Reinforcements Ltd is based in Sheerness, Kent. Our state-of-the-art factory is a purpose built rebar plant with a production capacity of 1500 tonnes of CARES approved cut & bent reinforcement every week.
To complement our production of cut & bent rebar we also hold CARES approval for prefabrication and the application of Erico Lenton Taper Threads & Couplers.
We supply all grades of fabric reinforcement as well as all associated accessories.

About Us
Thames Reinforcements Ltd was established in 2007. The rebar factory in Sheerness, Kent was purpose built to our specification making it one of the most efficient plants in the country.
Our Sales and Production team has a wealth of experience and are dedicated to giving each and every order received 100% of their attention no matter how small or large.
Thames Reinforcements commitment to the future means we are continually seeking to improve ourselves, whether this be by achieving additional accreditation for our processes or investing further in staff training, modern technology and new machinery.

Cut & Bent Reinforcement
CARES Approved cut & bent reinforcement to BS 8666 and BS 4466
Prefabrication
Thames Reinforcements offer a CARES Approved Fabrication Service to help contractors reduce program times and onsite health & safety risks. Ground Beams, Columns, Walls and Pile Cages can all be prefabricated under factory conditions at our premises in Sheerness and delivered direct to site when required, saving you time and valuable site space.
All loads are pre-slung to avoid working at height and with early involvement in projects we can offer value engineering to help reduce costs.
Mechanical Splicing
Thames Reinforcements also carry CARES Approval for the application of Erico Lenton Taper Threads & Couplers.
We carry an extensive range of Erico Lenton Couplers in stock including standard bar to bar Couplers, Positional Couplers & Transitional Couplers.
Value Engineering
With in-house resources and early involvement in projects we can offer a full design service.
Bar Coding & Tracking
Our software package enables us to view the live production status of jobs giving us accurate information to feedback to our clients on the progress of their orders.
The production tags produced are colour coded for ease of identification on site as well as being Bar Coded for tracking of Bar Marks from the shop floor onto the designated delivery vehicle. This means no orders can leave the factory incomplete.
Delivery
Thames Reinforcements have a range of Artic Flatbeds, Rigids and Hiab vehicles available for national delivery. All vehicles have safety rails as standard and are fitted with trackers to offer our client accurate expected delivery times.
Express
We offer an Express Service for Cut & Bent Reinforcements as well as Prefabrication.

Quality System BS EN 9001 2008
Thames Reinforcements business is run fully compliant with the CARES Quality & Operations Assessment Schedules which fully encompasses all the requirements for BS EN ISO 9001.
All raw material whether sourced nationally or internationally is only purchased from CARES Approved suppliers ensuring complete traceability and product quality from initial stock through to delivery of our finished product.
Health & Safety System OHSAS 18001 2007
Thames Reinforcements is committed to providing a safe working environment for all it’s employees and clients and as such holds CARES Approval for an Occupational Health & Safety Management System which complies with OHSAS 18001.
Environmental BS EN ISO 14001 2004
Thames Reinforcements is dedicated to understanding and continually improving the impact our business has on the environment. We hold CARES Approval for an Environmental Management System that meets with the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001 2004

Yellow Mat
The yellow mat walkway matting was created to help clearly identify designated pedestrian walkways on construction sites.
It is available in 1x10mtr rolls and with its high grip, hard wearing surface it can be cleaned and moved if required.
The bright colour means it is clearly identifiable to all site personnel and machine operatives so no walkways can be obstructed.
With an option to have your company logo printed on the matting it also acts as an advert that promotes safe and clean site practices.
