Funded Places
Which subject will be your main teaching subject?
N.B. precedence must be givento those wishing to teach one of the following subjects: maths;ICT/ Computer Science; physics; chemistry; Modern Foreign Languages; Welsh in a maintained school. You must have studied the subject to degree level.
Unfunded Places
Unfunded places are available to either:for overseas trained teacherswith teaching qualifications, but not QTS, and who have been employed at a maintained school for at least a year;for further education teachers who have obtained a FE teaching qualification, but not QTS, and who have been employed at a maintained school for at least a year.
For applicants wishing to train to teach a vocational subject in the delivery of 14 -19 local curriculum in maintained schools where an urgent need for a qualified teacher has been identified to help support this teaching in subject areas which are not covered in mainstream ITT.
