Correction to Medication Information

A previous Puma Mail incorrectly reported the policy for students carrying medication at school. Please note the following correction:

Students may carry and take prescribed medications (as well as over-the-counter medications) at school IF A MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION FORM IS COMPLETED. This form must be completed by both the student's health care provider and the student's parent/guardian. Forms are available through the Wellness Program in Room 217.

If you have questions about students carrying and/or taking medications at school, about the District's medication policy or any other questions or concerns about your student's health and well-being, you may contact the School Nurse (Ms. Susan Kitchell, RN, MS, PNP) at 415-469-4006 x3. The nurse is on campus on Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings and Fridays.
