Apprenticeships on our Framework
Introduction
Earlier this year the Learning and Development Academy Team carried out a Training Needs Analysis across all Council departments and local schools. The qualifications that were identified were then used as the basis for the competitive tender process which was necessary to select appropriate apprenticeship training providers.
The list of qualifications was broken into lots to make it easier for potential training providers to identify which courses they were bidding to supply. These lots are shown below, with the qualifications available and the training providers who have been selected to deliver within each lot. Not all training providers are able to deliver all of the apprenticeships within a given lot.
If an apprenticeship is not shown below we can still arrange it but we will need to identify a training provider. If none of our existing training providers are able to deliver that apprenticeship we would need to find an appropriate training provider. Please contact the Learning and Development Academy Team for more information.
Arranging an Apprenticeship
As Apprenticeships are funded through the apprenticeship levy they can only be set up through the Learning and Development Academy Team.
If a Manager or school contacts a training provider directly to set up an apprenticeship, this will not be funded from the apprenticeship levy and the Department or school will be liable for that cost.Further information
