Mon 6th / Easter Bonnet Parade for children, 11am, Sainsbury’s. Children are invited to create their own Easter bonnet masterpieces and then walk down a catwalk to show them off to local celebrity judges. The winners will each receive an Easter goodie basket.

Bits and Bobs Fair hosted by Futures for Dogs in Sandwich, 9am-3.30pm, the Guildhall Forecourt and the meeting room. There will be dogs there that need rehoming and all money raised helps to cover vet bills for those pets in the charity’s care.

Kearsney Parks Activity Day at Kearsney Abbey from 10am to 4pm on Thursday 16 April - and get involved in a range of free family activities and find out more about the exciting Parks for People project. Anyone is welcome; the day includes the chance to enjoy a range of activities including face painting, balloon modelling, arts activities, pond dipping and model boating. You will also be able to chat to a representative about the Parks for People project, and tell them what you love about the Kearsney Parks and how you would like to use them in the future.
