LYON COUNTY FISCAL COURT

SPECIAL CALLED

APRIL 21, 2014

The Lyon County Fiscal Court met in special called session on Monday April 21, 2014 with the following members present: Judge Wade White, Magistrates Charles Ferguson, Steve Cruce, and Buddy Nichols and County Attorney Brandon Knoth.

Sheriff Kent Murphy gave the invocation and the court led the pledge to the flag.

On motion made by Mag. Cruce and seconded by Mag. Ferguson the court convened into executive session. The vote was unanimous.

On motion made by Mag. Cruce and seconded by Mag. Ferguson the court reconvened into regular session. The vote was unanimous.

On motion made by Mag. Ferguson and seconded by Mag. Cruce the court approved a pay rate of $21.43 per hour for Jason Thompson. The vote was Mag. Ferguson, Cruce and Nichols voting yes and Judge White voting no.

On motion made by Judge White and seconded by Mag. Cruce the court approved a pay rate of $16.74 per hour for Nathan Corley. The vote was Mag. Ferguson, Cruce and Nichols voting no and Judge White voting yes. The court did approve a reduction of 10 cents per hour in Nathan Corley’s pay, changing it to $16.64 per hour. The vote being Mag. Ferguson, Cruce and Nichols voting yes and Judge White voting no.

On motion made by Mag. Ferguson and seconded by Mag. Cruce the court left Ronald E Lewis’ pay at $17.00 per hour. The vote was unanimous.

On motion made by Judge White and seconded by Mag. Nichols the court approved a 2% raise for all road workers, county employees and convenience workers with the exception of the following:

Jason Thompson (rate set previous motion)

Ronald E Lewis (rate set previous motion)

Bobby Williams (rate stays the same)

Bob Langhi (rate stays the same)

Adam Lyons (rate stays the same)

Tom Aldridge (rate stays the same)

Henry B Yates (rate stays the same)

The vote was unanimous.

On motion made by Mag. Cruce and seconded by Mag. Ferguson the meeting was adjourned. The vote was unanimous.
