What’s new this winter
We have two new doctors who have joined Queenhill Medical Practice, Dr Tanya Harris who joined us in May and Dr Xiaolan Wang who joined us on the 1st September 2015. Dr Helen Martin completed her Registrar training and is also staying with us as a Salaried GP for a further year.
Two new Registrar’s started with us on the 5th August 2015, Dr Alina D’Cruz and Dr Fiona Williams. Also we have three new staff members Sarah, Serena & Claire. Sarah who is one of our new receptionists, and both Serena & Claire have joined the Admin team. On the 30th November Patricia Gamble, Practice Nurse, will complete our team.
We are sure you will join us in welcoming them all to our practice.
Be prepared get ready for the winter
Be prepared this Winter and book your appointments early. Asthma check ups and medication reviews – check your inhalers have not expired. COPD checks, Blood pressure checks - check to make sure you receive your medication and do not forget to book your holiday vaccinations, “if you are one of the lucky ones to travel away this winter”.

Please remember that the clocks will go back at the end of October (25th October) so the nights will start drawing in, and the dark nights will arrive
Although there will be shorter days and longer nights, there is a silver lining – the change means an extra hour in bed on Sunday morning.
Please remember to take care & wrap up warm in the cold nights, stay safe.

The Group meets regularly at the Practice
to discuss ways of making a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered
