BOARD AND MANAGEMENT BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Guy L. Scalzi, age 56, has served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of our First Consulting Group Management Services LLC business unit since January 1, 2000. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at New York Presbyterian Healthcare System from April 1996 to December 1999, where he led the development of strategic technology plans, systems standards and project planning processes across the New York Presbyterian Healthcare Network, an expanding network of medical institutions.
From January 1995 to March 1996, he was Director of Planning for Information Services at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. From June 1993 to December 1994, Mr. Scalzi served as Chief Information Officer for The Hospital for Joint Diseases at New York University Medical Center where he was responsible for all financial and clinical information systems in this 220 bed specialty care hospital, including the implementation of Laboratory and Radiology Information Systems and the TDS 7000 Series Clinical Information System.
Prior to this, he was Managing Director for DataEase Europe in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where he established and built independent marketing and sales subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, France and The Benelux. Mr. Scalzi managed international software distributors in the rest of Europe, as well as in South America, Africa, and the Far East.
From 1984 to 1990, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer for DataEase International, Inc. in Trumbull, CT where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of this $30M software company, including product development, technical support, sales and marketing, training and consulting, finance, production, and administration. While in this role, he built demand for DataEase products among Fortune 500 corporations and negotiated comprehensive purchase/licensing agreements. Mr. Scalzi has a BS in Education from the State University of New York at Oswego and an MBA in Finance from Manhattan College. He is a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University.
