Members,

Seventeen Ambassadors were hosted by the Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, Friendship Force, from June 13-20. Of this number, five were from our Club and the others were from across the United States which made for an interesting exchange. Even though it rained every day, the hosts were flexible and made adjustments to provide an informative itinerary. Come to our General Meeting on Sunday, July 20, to hear a report of this trip.

The June LEO was held at Brio’s, in Brookwood Mall. If you’ve never attended a LEO or it has been some time since you did, this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know members. Thanks to Barbara Hill for selecting a different restaurant for us to enjoy good food and friendship. The date and time for the August Leo is listed below and promises to be a cultural experience with a visit to Mi Pueblo, a Mexican market. Mark your calendar!

This year is passing quickly and there are still many activities to plan and prepare for. Come to the General Meeting on Sunday to learn how you can help! Bring a friend with you to share the hospitality while learning how to explore the world through the Friendship Force.

Marlyss Giles, President
