We are continuing our Theme of Christmas up to the end of term.

Committee News

I have decided to step down as Chair at the end of July when my son leaves the setting. Most other committee members will also leave when their children move on to school the treasurer’s son has already left. We desperately need to recruit members to take over existing roles. Please speak to myself or any member of the team if you would like to join the committee and find out more about this rewarding role.

Committee Role / Name
Chair / Nicola Stonehouse (Daniel)
Treasurer / Wendy Parr (Blake, now at school)
Secretary / Jodie Lagden (Matthew)
Member / Suzie Davidson (Noah)
Member / Emma Linger ((Benjamin)
Member / Tracey Nudd (Isaac)
Member / Dawn Whittle (Scarlett)

Fundraising

We have had a truly astounding month for fundraising. Firstly the CO-OP announced that we had raised £997 through members nominations using their loyalty card. We then raised a further £154.37 by having a charity stall in store. Our Christmas plate creations raised £100. You will see new equipment arriving next term and I will update you further about our new purchases as they arrive.

Boots, coats, hats and labels.

Please don’t forget to bring labelled hats and gloves as well as coats and welly boots (not in a plastic bag due to choking hazard) We go out everyday unless it is raining very hard so please ensure your child is prepared as some children are not wanting to go out as they know they will be cold.

Healthy Snack

Please help us promote healthy eating by ensuring the snack you provide is a healthy one and remember you don’t need to pack snacks for Monday, Tuesday or Thursday as we provide snack on these days. Donations for snack go in the tin marked Donations as you come into the hall.

Please ensure grapes and cherry tomatoes are cut in half lengthways as they are a choking hazard.
