We’d like to offer seniors discounted, “preferred” copays, but Medicare drug plans won’t let us participate in their preferred pharmacy network. Join us in telling Congress this isn’t fair at and urge them to support H.R. 4577, the Ensuring Seniors Access to Local Pharmacies Act, to increase#pharmacychoice for seniors in medically underserved areas like ours.

Our pharmacy is excluded from participating in the preferred pharmacy network under Medicare, even though we are the only pharmacy in town and can care for patients face-to-face. Join us in asking Congress to change the rules to allow any willing pharmacy in a medically underserved area to participate by supporting H.R. 4577. #pharmacychoice

We are located in a rural/underserved urban area and want the opportunity to participate as a “preferred” pharmacy in all Medicare drug plans. Join us in urging Congress to pass H.R. 4577, the Ensuring Seniors Access to Local Pharmacies Act, and increase #pharmacychoice for seniors.

We’re the only pharmacy in town. Seniors should be able to fill their prescriptions at our pharmacy without being charged a higher copay because we are not allowed to participate as “preferred” providers in Medicare. We support HR 4577, which will remedy this problem, and ask you to contact [INSERT REPRESENTATIVE NAME] and express your support for this bill and #pharmacychoice.

Dear [Representative NAME]: Please give seniors the ability to choose their own pharmacy in Medicare Part D plans. Many seniors are forced to use “preferred” pharmacies, which are sometimes further away than their local, independent pharmacy. Please cosponsor and support H.R. 4577, the Ensuring Seniors Access to Local Pharmacies Act, which will allow any pharmacy located in a medically underserved community and willing to accept the contractual terms to participate as a preferred pharmacy in Medicare drug plans.
