Winter Level One Long Course Meet 2012
IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE CIRCULATE TO ALL COACHES & COMPETITORS
Swimmers MUST sign in for each session.
No on-the-day time trials will be offered.
Warm up procedure
Sessions 1 & 4 – 8.00am - 25 minutes mixed warm up.
Sessions 2 & 3 – 10.15am - 20 minutes male then 20 minutes female.
Sessions 5 & 6 – 2.00pm - 20 minutes female then 20 minutes male.
Session Start Times
Sessions 1 & 4 – 8.35am;Sessions 2 & 5-11.00am; Sessions 3 & 6 - 2.45pm
Parking
Free parking is available (approx.300 spaces) The entrance to the car park is on the right as you approach the Complex, there will be a sign giving direction to the free car park.
Please Note: Parking in the Leisure Complex car park is pay and display both days.
Competitors
Please do not bring large bags or outside coats poolside. The poolside area will be very busy and a large number of bags will cause obstructions.
Lockers are available in the changing village, £1 refundable.
Marshalling area will be in the changing village and in Court 1.
The sports hall will be available for land based warm up or chilling out during the Meet.
Prizes.
Medals awarded to top 3 male and female in each age group, each event.
A shield will be presented to the top visiting club.
A blueseventy NERO TX KNEESKIN & JAMMER RACESUIT will be presented to the top female and top male swimmer of the weekend (based on points for heats and HDW only).
Spectators
There are approximately 350 poolside seats which can be accessed from the upstairs viewing gallery, stairs to poolside spectators seating are at the far end of the upper gallery. There are a further 90 seats on the upper gallery and ample room for standing or wheelchairs.
Entrance for spectators is £5.00 per day. Two day programme is £5.00.
Anyone wishing to use a camera of any type must register at the front desk as per ASA guidance.
General Information
Swim Shop – Mailsports will be at the Meet both days
Host café will be open during the Meet serving food and drinks.
Nearest supermarket – Sainsbury’s, York Road, Uxbridge, UB8 1QW (10 minute walk)
There are no cash machines at the Complex, the nearest is at Sainsbury’s
