2016 Official Rules

Date: Saturday, October 15, 2016

Time: 1:30 pm

Location: Woodbridge Middle School, Bridgeville

Registration: 12:30-1:15pm

Rules

  1. Skillet will be provided by the Festival Committee
  2. Skillet is 8” cast iron
  3. Throw will be straight out the course. Distance off center will be subtracted from distance thrown.
  4. Underhanded only using the handle of the skillet
  5. Best of two throws
  6. Crossing foul line will disqualify the throw but will still count as one throw
  7. Best of two throws
  8. No practice throws permitted on-site
  9. Distance will be marked at skillet’s final resting spot
  10. Must be at least 18 years of age to participate – proof of age may be required
  11. Two age divisions: 18-40 and 40 and older
  12. All contestants must sign a waiver to participate
  13. The decision of the judges will be final

I agree that the Apple Scrapple Festival Committee and sponsors will not be held responsible for any accident, injury, lost or stolen items that may be incurred during this contest. I also agree to all the conditions of the above application. The sponsors associated with this contest and the Apple Scrapple Festival has the right to use any data, pictures, and etc. collected, to be used for marketing purposes.
