Malaysia

I have visited Malaysia three times. My first _visit/ trip_ (1) was in 1998. We went _there__ (2) during one of our school holidays. I think we went ___in__ (3) July but I’m not sure. It was definitely in the summer because it was very, very __hot__ (4) and humid.

My second visit was last year. We stayed there __from___ (5) 14th to 25th December. I remember that we flew there on 14th December because I hate flying on __days___ (6) with unlucky numbers! I also remember that we flew back on Christmas Day because the pilot was _wearing_ (7) a red hat like Santa Claus.

On my first two visits, I stayed in Kuala Lumpur. However, during this trip, we __stayed__ (8) at a resort on the east coast of Malaysia. The resort had lots of things to do. I’m interested in diving so every day from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m, I had a diving __lesson___ (9). I also had a few tennis lessons _during__ (10) our stay.

Billy liked the resort too. He also took diving lessons _in____ (11) the mornings. However, his lessons were longer. His lessons _lasted_ (12) for three hours till lunchtime. He was always very _hungry_ (13) by the end of his lessons and that made him eat even more at lunch. In the afternoon, he often slept!

So _when__ (14) is the best time to visit Malaysia? Well, most people say that the best time is some time in April. The _weather_ (15) is usually sunny and quite dry at this time. However, I think you can have a good time whenever you go!
