Family Memories and Stories Wanted!

Please submit your family memories and pictures to be shared either in the cookbook, family directory/memory book, in a family newsletter or on the website. These memories and pictures can cover any era of your life. Both new and old pictures are welcome. Pictures and memories can be mailed to the Reunion address or sent by email.

Don’t know what to write about? How about a few words describing your memories of your oldest ancestor, your grandmother or grandfather for example? What did they look like; did they speak with an accent? Did they have any habits you remember, or any identifying features that you now see in the younger generation like their eyes, nose, etc.? What did they do for a living? Were they in the military?

What about memories of holiday gatherings, family reunions, weddings or funerals? What about any family traditions regarding holidays, names, family stories or special occasions? Specific memories of your own parents or siblings are encouraged as well.

Or share your own experiences. What was your home like; what is a favorite school memory, tell us about your first job, or most memorable job, your favorite pet, you most dreaded teacher, the birth of your children, and so forth. It doesn’t have to be a story; just a few words would still be fun to share. Have a great picture? Just share it and a caption that tells who is in it (if you know) and what kind of event it was.

As a special project, we are encouraging your remembrances and/or pictures of AnnaBelle Fouhy, as we will be celebrating her life and 80th birthday as part of the reunion.

You can scan pictures (preferably at 300 dpi) and email them to us, or send a print copy. If sending a print, let me know if you want it returned by mail, or if you will pick it up at the reunion.

Your memories are an important part of the larger family history. Please share your stories so we can all enjoy our family heritage!
