SMART goal criteria is used to formulate the goal. / By June 2013, I will have completed or updated 100 % of the health protocols for students who have special health concerns to inform teachers and other staff members the student needs. And, I will have trained the appropriate staff.

· What are the characteristics or special circumstances of my area of specialty?
· What are the demographics of my caseload? / As a school nurse I provide nursing services for 1045 students in two school settings, with 49 students who require protocols and 14 students with daily medicine needs. Additionally, I have two students who have daily medical procedures.
I support 120 staff through protocol training and daily consultation for student incidents or other medical needs.
