Scars of Attachment

Object Relations Theory says that we have a primary need for relationship

Souvenirs of love

Bert Hellinger’s work centres on relationship and Soul belonging

The workshop will explore experientially the idea that Scars of attachment, our feelings about belonging, are recognizable as Souvenirs of love.

It is an opportunity to understand the longing for belonging, how we reach out in our yearning to be met and how contact with others gets interrupted. We can see the ways in which people do belong in family systems often lovingly connected through intergenerational entanglements.

Inclusive compassion is the lens we will use to enlarge the family picture, to see and feel the hidden dynamics that underlie the family system and a new image may emerge. We will work both interactively and with family constellations in the movement towards a stronger sense of self.

The whole group is involved in constellation work whether as client or representative in the service of a client’s family or part of the essential holding group within which the work unfolds.

Our personal issues can be touched in a profound way seeing how love has been blocked and how it can flow, where hearts have had to close and how still we have remembered and remained loyal. This work has a delicate simplicity which impacts and ripples deeply, it can move our Souls when everyone has a place and is

re-membered within the family.
