The Role

Reporting into the Marketing Manager asthe Digital Graphic Designer you will be responsible fordesigning and maintaining continuity of digital marketing activity across the department providing digital expertise / best practice in ensuring all digital communications are fit for purpose and on brand.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptual design and execution for the website and e-mails.
  • Production and end-to-end management of email campaigns using drag and drop templates for design through to tracking effectiveness post deployment giving guidance for improvement where necessary.
  • Update content to CMS system using SEO and PPC experience to ensure content is optimised when searched.
  • Helping with initial design and production of generic email templates to be used across the Group.
  • Put in place best practice directive for digital design work, to include emails and website posts, and correct methods of uploading and saving all work.
  • Adhere to Studio governance and control procedures ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness of delivery to your internal clients.
  • Ensure all imagery and copy selected is on brand / message.
  • Ensuring that digital marketing communications are aligned, scheduled and cohesive in design and messaging to create maximum impact at end-user level.
  • Act as the main go-to for the marketing team for digital/email design queries as well as other departments within the business.
  • Take an active role in learning the CRM and how this can better serve digital marketing communications across the Group.
  • Take tier one responsibility for the checking and sign off process for all email campaigns created by other team members, before clearance at management level.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong digital development skills – CMS, html, .NET and javascript
  • Experienced in Adestra and Dotmailer.
  • Website design and content management to include SEO and PPC best practices.
  • At least five years’ experience of working with Dreamweaver and Adobe Creative Cloud to include InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Experience of brochure production and email production, exhibition management desirable.
  • Social Media posting and analysis to support marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Adept at copy writing, excellent grammar and attention to detail.
  • PowerPoint intermediate.
  • Excel and Word intermediate.
  • Can-do attitude, approachable, hardworking, flexible, adaptable to change and inspirational.
