Dear Football Parents,

Welcome to the 2014 Wildcat Football Season! We would like to make you aware of some opportunities and invite you to participate in supporting our football players. There are four specific opportunities we want to share with you here.

Hello Wildcat Fans!!

Football Booster Club Activities Update:

Parent Meeting With Coach Warden: Tuesday, August 12th at 7pm in the Auditorium.

Coach Warden has requested ALL FOOTBALL PARENTS (even returning players) attend this meeting. Coach Warden will discuss policies and expectations for parents and players for this season. The Booster Club will also have information about volunteer opportunities, and you will be able to sign up for various events.

Meet the Wildcats: Need a Volunteer to coordinate this activity: Thursday, August 21st at 5:30 pm in the CCHS Cafeteria. This is the official launch of our football season where you can meet the players and coaches, purchase the newest Wildcat Wear, purchase raffle tickets, and volunteer for the many responsibilities it takes to support the teams.

Game Program: Tobie Wadyka, Joe Pugh and Derrick Etzel are the Game Program coordinators this year. The game program is for sale at each home game. The program has the game lineups for both teams, Creek Team pictures, business adds and student adds from football, drill team, cheer, band and anyone else that wants to support Creek football. We will need help selling programs before each home game, you can sign up on the website. Have questions about the program, you can e-mail the program coordinators directly at

Merchandise: Cindy deMasi and Sandy Kelly are Merchandise coordinators this year. We have a great new selection of merchandise that will be available at Meet the Wildcats, and all home games. Show your support by wearing Creek gear to games. We need help setting up, selling and cleanup, you can sign up on the website. We usually close-up at the start of third quarter.

Concession Stand: Need a Volunteer to coordinate this activity: The Football Booster Club stocks and operates the JV and Freshman concession stand during those home games. The concessions at Varsity games are operated by contractor through the school district, thus Football does not benefit directly from Varsity concessions. Concessions for JV and Freshman games are very busy at half time and between games so we need at least 3 volunteers per game. We don’t want anyone stuck in the concession stand when their child is playing so please sign-up on the website.

Homecoming Carnival: Need a Volunteer to coordinate this activity: Homecoming carnival is a school wide event for students in the courtyard. All school clubs participate and sell food, merchandise or dunking booth etc. Football sells pizza rolls, drinks and merchandise. We need at least 10 volunteers for this event. This is a great way to see the kids with all the giant mums and corsages. The booster club also provides the senior Moms with mums at the game, Terresa Lester has volunteered to create the mums for moms and her son graduated in 2014. If you see her around, give her a big thank you! She has been a great supporter for years while her son was playing and we are so glad she is continuing to be involved. Thanks Terresa!

Senior Recognition Game: Amanda DeVries is this years Senior Night coordinator. This is the football game where all seniors (football, cheer, drill team, band etc) are recognized on the field before the game with a parent escort. We also do a special program for this game that includes baby pictures of the senior players, so start looking for your favorite baby picture now, Amanda will be making arrangements to collect those.

Fundraisers: The students are only allowed to participate in two fundraisers per activity per school year. This will be the Wildcat Cards from the coach and the Football Car Wash. The booster club coordinates the car wash which will take place on a Saturday before the first game(weather permitting). We need all the cars and donations possible so tell all your friends and neighbors. We will also be doing a raffle item again this year. Last year was a JJ Watt autographed helmet…this year will be something you will definitetly want a ticket for your chance to win. We will need help selling raffle tickets.

Tunnel Crew: Need a Volunteer to coordinate this activity Do you like getting down on the field? Then this is where you want to help! Tunnel crew sets up and takes down the new Wildcat blow up tunnel before each game and at half time. This takes about 8 people. Many of our previous tunnel crew are no longer with us due to graduating players or have gone on to take on more time consuming roles within the booster club.

Scholarships: Need a Volunteer to coordinate this activity Each year the booster club gives a number of scholarships to deserving seniors. The scholarship committee determines when the application deadline is and then reviews the applications to decide who gets a booster club scholarship. If you are interested in helping on the scholarship committee let one of the board members know. Senior parents are ineligible for this committee.

Football Banquet: Need a Volunteer to coordinate this activity The banquet is the last event of the football season. This is a catered dinner in the cafeteria for all players and family. The cafeteria is decorated, video slide show of ESPN moments from the season, Coaches Awards are presented and scholarships recipients are announced. There is a lot of work that goes into making this a nice event and requires lots of help. We would prefer that Senior parents not have to participate in the coordination of this event, so that they can relax & enjoy their last event to celebrate their son's involvement with Clear Creek Football.

Webmaster and website: Donny Wadyka is our webmaster again this year. You can find the game schedules, sign up for concession stand duty, review game stats, view game pictures, download forms and much more by visiting www.clearcreekwildcatfootball.com As you sign-up for concession or merchandise sales, the website will send you an email reminder prior to your scheduled time.

Email: Get on the booster club email list. Now that we are getting closer to season kickoff, you will begin getting weekly updates that will continue through the season and we also send out important last minute information and cancellations. If you know someone who is not receiving football email, have them send a request to and ask to be added to the list.

Reminder: All forms for membership and business & personal program ads, can be found on our wesite. www.clearcreekwildcatfootball.com

A special thank you to the parents & supporters that have already volunteered to help, we appreciate you!! We are excited about this season, the coaches and players have been working hard over the summer and we know all of the Wildcat teams are going to do great things, on and off the field! Please find a way to get involved and show your support for the best high school football team in Texas!

GO CREEK!
