As you know we are busy with planningCelebrating Bold Street (Sunday, 9 July) which is part of the city centre campaign Independents’ Week (3-9 July). The event will see Bold Street closed to vehicles for the day and businesses are invited to utilise the space outside of their store 10am-6pm. It can be anything from outdoor seating, displaying products you can buy in store, workshops or hiring a gazebo to trade from on the day.
We are offering restaurants on Bold Street the opportunity to have one of their chefs take a slot on our pop-up kitchen to create one of your signature dishes. The slots will be one hour each throughout the day and will be on a first come first serve basis. Please let us know below if you are interested.
There is an option to hire a gazebo for the day, if so, please fill the gazebo form andreturn it or email it to the BID team by no later than Monday12June. Mark, your designated Bold Street BID ambassador, will also be visiting to collect these in. The gazebo is 2m x 3m and includes a table for you to use. The cost of hiring a gazebo is £60which we will invoice you for once you have returned the form. Set up will be available from 8am with trading starting at 10am. The event will finish at 6pm with all businesses de-riggingthen.
As well as the Celebrating Bold Street event, we are encouraging independent businesses to do events and promotions during Independents’ Week (3-9 July) which will be featured heavily throughout the city centre campaign.

Independents’ Week is a campaign to engage local independent businesses, residents and visitors in celebrating entrepreneurial spirit of the growing independent business community taking place 3-9 July.
The campaign is an opportunity to put the focus on the independent businesses in Liverpool with the event “Celebrating Bold Street” being the finale on Sunday 9 July.

Celebrating Bold Street 9 July
A street takeover of the businesses including a farmers market, art and crafts stalls, pop-up kitchen and street entertainment.
Celebrating Bold Street on Sunday 9 July is the finale event of Independents’ Week. The street will be closed to traffic 10am-6pm so we are encouraging businesses to utilise the space outside during that time. It can be anything from outdoor seating, displaying products you can buy in store, workshops or hiring a gazebo to trade from on the day.
The event is an opportunity to promote Bold Street while the British Style Collective (former The Clothes Show) is coming to Liverpool for the first time.

There will be no cooking allowed outside; any restaurants wishing to trade outdoors must prepare all food inside their premises.
