PERSONNEL REWARDED :The Commissioner of Police, Delhi has awarded Asadharan Karya Puraskar with cash reward of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousands) to Constable(Exe.) Kushal Pal for showing extreme courage his excellent work in apprehending accused Rajesh Kumar on 20-2-2010 without fearing for his life in the area of PS Jagat Puri. Accused Rajesh Kumar besides FIR No. 60/10, dated 20-2-10 u/s 356/379/34 IPC has also been arrested in case FIR No. 61/10 u/s 25/27/54/59 Arms Act and 506 IPC.

Public help sought:-

Old Delhi Railway Police have sought public help in identifying the following bodies:-

1.A male age around 30/35 years, height 5’6”, wheatish complexion, long face, thin built, wearing white shirt and pant, found on 22/4/10.

2.A Male age around 60/65 years, height 5’6”, wheatish complexion, round face, normal built, wearing only yellow bedsheet, found on 22-4-2010.

3.A male age around 35 years, height 5’5”, normal built, round face, wearing black pant only, found on 22-4-2010.

SIX SNATCHERS OF JUGNU GANG ARRESTED, TWO MOTORCYCLES AND FOUR GOLD CHAIN RECOVERED.

Brief facts:-

With the arrest of two bikers namely Farid @ jugnu S/o Abdul Rashid R/o Jafrabad aged 22 years and Sabir @ Sonu S/o Shahbuddin R/o C-2/328 Nand Nagri Delhi aged 18 years were detained at 70 foota road New Seemapuri during anti snatching checking . On detailed interrogation Farid @ Jugnu disclosed that he is running a snatchers gang in the name of “Jugnu”. On their disclosure and through interrogation four other snatchers namely Aman S/o Billu R/o C-3/338 Nand Nagri aged 22 years , Vikas @ Sonu Bania S/o Gyan prakash R/o D-1191 Nathu Colony Nand Nagri aged 23 years , Manoj S/o Hari Shanker R/o B-2/109 Nand Nagri,Delhi aged 22 years ,Suraj S/o Ramadher R/o B-2/145 Nand Nagri,Delhi aged 23 years were arrested from P.S. Seemapuri, Nand Nagri and Shahdara on 24/04/2010.

MEMBER OF ‘THAK THAK’ GANG CAUGHT RED HANDED

One Jasbir Singh s/o Gurtez Singh r/o Gurudwara Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi reported that he is a taxi driver. On 25.04.10, he was present on Gurudwara road in his taxi at about 2.30 pm when one person knocked from outside and signaled that something was lying near the taxi. As he opened the door to see outside, that person immediately opened the rear door of the taxi and attempted to lift the bag lying on the rear seat who was caught red handed by the police of PS Karol Bagh in assistance with complainant’s friend Kaka Singh. He was identified as Karthi Ken, aged 22 years s/o Thamij Harman r/o Milk Colony, Ramji Nagar, Tamil Nadu. A case vide FIR No. 50/10 u/s 379/511 IPC was registered at PS Karol Bagh.

Sustained interrogation of the accused revealed that he used to commit thefts in the vehicles by knocking the window pane of the vehicles signaling the driver as if something was lying near his vehicle and when the driver used to get down to see, he used to lift the mobile phones or costly items kept in the vehicle.

Through this note, the general public is advised that while driving the car, the drivers should remain alert and before getting down, all the windows should be locked.
