Core Zero Balancing, Part 2

Day One

9:00 - 10:30Welcome and logistics of workshop. Introduction of self and staff. Individual student introductions. Overview of week.

Review of the basic tenants of ZB, our foundations of particle and wave.

Re calibration of everyone’s touch, with the emphasis of interface.

10:30 - 11:00Break

11:00 - 12:30Discuss Body & Hand Positions

Review the Blue line diagram and the strategies of working within a field of tension.

Re calibrate the blue line in terms of HMV through legs.

12:30 – 1:30Lunch

1:30 – 3:00General questions from what has arisen in doing ZB Sessions since the Core ZB, Part 1 class.

3:00 – 3:30Break

3:30 – 4:30 Swap #1 Zero Balancing

4:30 - 5:30 Swap #2 Zero Balancing

Day Two

9:00 – 10:30Opening. Open Forum (questions from the day before or any ZB related questions). Framing a Zero Balancing Session.

Outline the principles, strategies & procedures for framing a session.

Practice framing sessions, working in triads

10:30 – 11:00Break

11:00 – 12:30Review the anatomy, evaluation & fulcrums the low back.

Teach the three levels of sitting evaluation of the SI.

Teach lying compression ASIS fulcrums into SI.

Teach significance& broader evaluation of ribs 10,11,12.

1:30- 3:00 Review anatomy, evaluation and fulcrums of hip.

Teach the second hand evaluation in the pelvis, with focus on the gluteal muscles, acetabular ridge and ischium.

3:30 – 4:30Teach theory of Moving Fulcrums. Review anatomy of tensor fascia lata. Discuss and demonstrate moving fulcrum thorough the tensor fascia lata.

Day Three

9:00 – 10:30 Opening. Open Forum (questions from the day before or any ZB related questions).

Review the anatomy & evaluation of the foot.

Table work in triads.

Review the two handed foot fulcrum.

11:00 – 12:30 Teach the theory and technique of the one handed foot fulcrum.

Teach the special fulcrums to address all the toes.

Review the five basic upper back fulcrums.

Teach the theory and application of the two special neck fulcrums –

the Sub occipital sweep.
