  1. Remember that when you arrive each morning, proximity readers will not work until you first log-on with your VUNET ID and
E-Password. Once logged on you will be activated to use your badge with the proximity reader. After six hours of idle time, you will be required to log in with your VUNET ID and E-Password again.
  1. As you leave each CWS computer, you will want to hover your badge over the proximity ready device to log yourself off.

Please note the following:

  • 24 hours is needed for Kronos to recognize staff’s new ID badges
  • Staff will need to clock-out manually with their employee ID at the end of the day and return to the usual Kronos (swiping) process the next day.
  • Please do NOT pierce the badge with any type of pins. This will destroy the abilities embedded in the badge! Badge replacements for this activity will be the responsibility of the employee.
