Monochrome Image

Any black and white image going from very dark grey (black) to very clear grey (white) and containing only various shades of grey. A black and white image toned entirely in a single colour will remain eligible as a monochrome print.

A black and white image which has been modified by the addition of partial toning or by the addition of one colour to any part of the image is defined as a colour print.

Creative Images – add (C) at the end of the image title

Creative photography is an extension of conventional photography into creative art. Its purpose is to stimulate creative thoughts and encourage experimentation with new ideas going beyond a simple photograph. The final result must be based on and have some resemblance to the maker's original photographic work, modified exclusively by the photographer.

The image may be made completely within the camera if the subject or perspective is unusual, dramatic or intriguing.

Or the image may be modified by the maker to reflect their artistic interpretation of the original scene, creating an altered reality.

Such images may display obvious change in natural colour, form, shape, or any combination of these three.
Creative images are often montages (a blending or of multiple images).

All images must be original and may notincorporate elements produced by anyone else.

D1-Image Title (C)-Ann Other-Cornish CC

It may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else including commercial border art or textures.
