The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is currently recruiting for several clinical titles to join its motivated, cohesive team for Goshen Secure (97 Cross Road, Goshen, NY 10924), Highland Residential (629 North Chodikee Lake Road, Highland, NY 12528) and Red Hook Residential (531 Turkey Hill Road, Red Hook, NY 12571).
Experience and/or exposure to the concepts and principles of the Sanctuary Model, a trauma-informed methodto more effectively provide a cohesive context within which healing from psychological and social traumatic experience can be addressed, is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications–Psychologist 2, Salary Range: $67,703 - $85,635
Must have a Master’s Degree in psychology that includes a psychology practicum or externship which prepares graduates for master’s level psychologist positions in clinical or community mental health settings and two years of supervised post master’s degree experience in a clinical or community mental health setting providing primarily psychological services.
Minimum Qualifications–Associate Psychologist, Salary Range: $67,703 - $85,635
Must have a Doctoral Degree in a field of psychology AND…either one year, full time clinical internship or traineeship; OR one year of psychology experience in a clinical setting*, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. (*any direct care experience with individuals, families, or groups in a hospital, clinic, private practice or correctional setting.)
Minimum Qualifications–Licensed Psychologist, Salary Range: $75,243 - $94,834
Must have a current license to practice psychology issued by the NYS Department of Education.
Your degree must have been awarded by a regionally accredited college or university or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable educational practices. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency.
Minimum Qualifications–Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric), Salary Range: $71,309 - $90,020
Must have a current license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
Minimum Qualifications–License Master Social Worker 2, Salary Range: $57,949 - $73,519
License and current registration as a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State and at least one year of post-licensure experience. LCSW is preferred. Applicants who have an interest in serving an at-risk youth population are desired.
Minimum Qualifications–Psychiatrist 1, Salary Range: $126,124 - $151,389
License to practice medicine in NYS and proof of satisfactory completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for entrance into their certifying examination. Candidates whose training programs do not meet the published standards of the Board will be required to present evidence of acceptance of their training by the Board. In Addition: Must be eligible for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.
Minimum Qualifications–Psychiatrist 2, Salary Range: $180,000
License to practice medicine in New York State OR possession of a limited permit and licensure in another state or by written examination in Canada. AND Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology AND eligible for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.
