AT CARDIGAN SWIMMING POOL

SATURDAY 17TH JUNE FROM 10AM - RUN & RIDE

AT TIVYSIDE PC FIELD IN PENPARC

Chose which disciplines you would like to do and what standard you would like to do them! You can do as many or few as you wish. Ages 3 – 103! You do not need to be a Pony Club member to compete.

Shoot - Bean Bag throwing onto a target / Shoot 7m or 10m with one or two hands holding the gun (Must be aged 8 years or over on the day to shoot and had a minimum of 3 supervised shooting practices)

Swim - Lengths or Widths, 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 mins

Run - 500m / 1000m / 1500m / 2000m / 3000m

Ride - This will be a combination of Show Jumps, Working Hunter Jumps and Cross Country Fences around the field. Heights from 30cm / 45cm / 60cm / 75cm / 90cm / 1m. You may have as much or as little help as you would like.

The competition will be based on the Pony Club Rules for Tetrathlon 2017

Shooting -All competitors are required to have a minimum of 3 practice shooting sessions before the competition. Loaders should be 17 yrs or over and competent

In the shooting range, guns must be kept in their cases until the Firing Point Steward gives the order to “unbox” them at the start of a Detail, and must be boxed again before competitors leave the firing point. At all other times air pistols must be stored in their boxes and locked in a secure place (i.e. in a vehicle out of sight). No person aged under 18 may be responsible for, or carry a gun.NO GUNS TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME

RidingSkull Cap and Body Protectors are compulsory for the Cross Country phase and must comply with Pony Club Rules.

All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. TheTivyside Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.

This is going to be a relaxed fun event for everyone to "have a go". You do not need to be a pony club member but our insurance will not cover you if you are not.

Times will be emailed a couple of days before the competition.

The ride phase will be a mixture of show jumps, working hunter jumps and cross country jumps around the field and will be adjusted between each class.

You may enter the clear round cross country as many times as you like at the same or different heights - however this will also need to be pre entered so that approximate times can be given for each class.
