Classroom Teacher Positions – Start 2017 (FT) and (P/T)

Position Information: There are a number of opportunities across all stages for all suitably qualified teachers to work in a dynamic and progressive school environment. If applying for part time please indicate days you are available. The grade is undetermined at this time, but K-6 classroom teachers and RFF/ specialist roles are amongst the options.Teachers with experience and willing to teach K-2 will be highly regarded.

School Information:

Rosehill Public School is located in western Sydney in the Parramatta precinct. It has approximately 630 K-6 students and 75 part time preschool students and caters for the needs of a culturally diverse community with high aspirations for their children’s learning success. The school is organised into stage and grade based learning teams led by a dedicated and skilled executive team.

Explicit and differentiated teaching in literacy and numeracy, underpinned by strong implementation of current research into effective teaching and its impact on learning, are focus areas in our school.

Position Criteria:

  • Approval to teach K-6 and/or Preschool.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, differentiated teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of all students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills which build positive relationships and engage students, staff and community.
  • Willingness to undertake extra-curricular activities throughout the school, working as a member of a whole school team K - 6.

Interested applicants are invited to submit an Expression of Interest, up to two pages in length addressing the position criteria above. On a separate page, please outline your qualifications, teaching experiences and the names of two referees who are familiar with you and are able to discuss your professional abilities and suitability for these positions. Decisions will be made Weeks 1-2 Term 4,2016, to support our planning for 2017. An interview may be required. A small panel including the principal, a staff representative and a community representative will determine the successful teachers where relevant.
