Dear Parents/Guardians,
Congratulations! Your child is about to embark on a wonderful journey. This journey will provide him/her with experiences, skills and knowledge to be successful in school. The first part of the journey will begin in September when your child enters into the Bright Stars Pre-Kindergarten Program at the JohnF.KennedySchool.
Bright Stars Pre-Kindergarten Meeting (Tuesday September 5th, 6:00PM)
Parents, you are an intrical part of our program. We will host a Back to School Meeting on Tuesday, September 5th. This meeting will provide you with information in regards to your child’s classroom, including the daily schedule and other special activities. Please bring all the school supplies, labeled with your child’s name and teacher’s name to the meeting.
Snack Information
To promote socialization and good nutrition, snack is available as a center. To accomplish this, we are asking each family to send in 2 group snacks to begin the year. Please use the following list to guide you. We appreciate your support in providing a snack that is healthy and not sugar based.
- Veggies or fruit
- Yogurt/Go-gurts
- Mini Bagels/Cream Cheese
- Cheese and Crackers
- String Cheese
- Granola Bars
- Pretzels
- Applesauce cups
- Popcorn
- Box of cereal
Clothing
Bright Star t-shirtsare required for all children to attend field trips, and we wear them every Friday. They will be available for sale atthe Pre-Kindergarten Meeting for $10.00 each.
Your child needs extra changes of clothes, for unforeseen accidents; please send them in a plastic Zip-loc bag labeled with their name
