A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  1. This is a high school event. Athletes must be in grades 9 to 12. Athletes must be entered by their school and a teacher from the athlete’s school must be present at all times throughout the duration of the event.
  1. Maximum spike length allowed on the track surface will be 5 mm pin spikes.
  1. Entry to the Field House Area will not be permitted until 12:00 noon.
  1. Only athletes, coaches, and officials will be allowed into the Field House Area.
  1. Team packages WILL NOT be given out unless entry fee has been received!Cheques are to be made out to “Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute”
  1. Athletes are not to be practicing shot putanywhere but the designated throwing areaand only when the meet official is present. Only competing throwers and officials should be inside of the designated throwing area.
  1. Day use lockers will be available on-site.
  1. Coaches are asked to check e-mail on day of meet for officiating duties, last minute reminders, cancellation notice due to hazardous weather conditions, etc.
