ATM Card cheater arrested by Bawana Police

With the arrest of one Jagbir S/o Baljeet R/o H No. 131 Vill- sanoth, Delhi, aged - 21 yrs, Bawana police has been solved as many as 5 cases of cheating committed by him in Bawana area.

Brief facts & investigation :-

A complaint was received at P.S Bawana on 25/10/08 from Sh. Balraj Singh S/o Kulbir singh 70 Bn CRPF Bawana that his ATM card was deceitfully changed by one person when he went to withdrawn money from ATM Counter of SBI Branch at Bawana. After this, Rs. 40,000/- were withdrawn from his bank account by using his ATM card. Upon receiving this complaint, a case of cheating was registered at P.S Bawana, further three more incidents were reported and cases were registered at P.S Bawana. A team under the supervision of ACP/ S.Puri Sh. Narender Pal Singh comprising Insp. Hanuman Sahai Meena ,SHO/Bawana, SI Satya Pal , SI Shiv Kumar , HC Rajbir , HC .Joginder singh, Ct. Satya Pal, and Ct. Satish, swung into action . Several raids were conducted and suspects were interrogated, such incidents had occurred at ATM of SBI and Corporation Bank. Help of CCTV footage was also taken. Finally, the team succeeded in apprehending the accused based on the secret information from Bawana chowk, and he was arrested after interrogation on 1/11/08.

Interrogation revealed that the accused Jagbir used to stand at ATM Counter and kept eye on the customers visiting the counter for withdrawing money. If some one had any problem,he offered them help and in this way came to know their passwords. Then while returning their ATM Card he would deceitfully give them other card in place of the original one. Then he use the original card to withdraw money from the account of customers (victims) as he already know the passwords.

In this way, so far it has been revealed that he has withdrawn Rs. 1,80,100 /- by cheating 5 persons whose cases have already been registered at P.S Bawana. Thus, with his arrest, 5 cases of ATM card cheating have been worked out so far.

FOUR AUTO LIFTERS ARRESTED: 03 CASES WORKED OUT

With the arrest of four persons, namely 1) Madan @ Gogi S/O Banwari Lal R/o P4/111 Mangol Puri Delhi. 2) Satbir Yadav S/O Chander Singh Yadav R/O H.NO 112 Vill Mangol Pur Kalan, Delhi 3) Binod Kumar S/O Late Sh Heera Lal R/O Footh Path Mangolpur, Delhi and 4) Surender Kumar S/O Narayan Dass R/O X-610 Mangol Pur Gaon, Delhi, Outer District Special staff has busted a gang of Auto lifters operating in the area of Outer District and has worked out as many as 03 cases of Auto lifting and recovered the Stolen vehicles.

BRIEF FACTS

Keeping in view the increasing Motor Vehicle theft, two teams of Special Staff, Outer District was formed by Sh Dev Raj, ACP, Operations under the leadership of Insp Amar Deep Sehgal comprising of SI Joginder Singh, SI Sanjay Gade SI Jasmohinder, HC Yogesh Kumar, HC Rishi Ram, HC Ramesh, HC Suresh, Ct Hari Chand, Ct Gajender, Ct Devraj, Ct. Prem Singh, Ct. Satbir, Ct. Anoop & Ct. Rakesh. On 1.11.08 at about 09.30 AM, team of Special Staff was present in the area of PS Rohini while they apprehended Madan @ Gogi above while in possession of a Bajaj Chetak Scooter and Satbir Yadav, Binod Kumar and Surender Kumar while in possession of a TSR . On verification it was found that the Scooter and TSR were found stolen from the area of PS Rohini, Delhi. Later the above mentioned accused persons were interrogated in detail and another stolen motorcycle was also recovered on the pointing out of accused Madan @ Gogi. three cases of auto theft of Outer District have been worked out.

PROFILE

Madan @ Gogi S/O Banwari Lal R/o P4/111 Mangol Puri, Delhi aged 28 years is the original resident of Prem Nagar, Patel Nagar, Delhi. He used to sell illicit liquor. While committing theft in Railway premises he killed one constable of GRP in the year 2004 and left Patel Nagar area while on bail. For last few years he started living in the area of Mangol Puri. In order to earn quick and easy money he started stealing scooter/motorcycles from the area of Rohini and Mangol Puri.

Satbir Yadav S/O Chander Singh Yadav R/O H.NO 112 Vill Mangol Pur Kalan, Delhi aged 45 years is married and illiterate. By profession he is an auto rickshaw driver. He is a leader of his gang and his modus operandi is that he used to send one of his gang members as a passenger to hire auto. Then passenger (member of the gang) used to stop the vehicle in front of the locked premises in the locality on the pretext that he has to take some articles from inside. Another member, as per planning, used to steal the auto from the same area. His gang members are all auto drivers and he is previously involved in the cases of auto theft.

Surender Kumar S/O Narayan Dass R/O X-610 Mangol Pur Gaon, Delhi, aged 60 years is married and illiterate. By profession, he is an auto driver and used to act as a fake passenger. No one disbelieve him keeping in view the age factor of the subject. This idea was given by him to Surender Yadav so that the gang can perform his nefarious activities even in broad day light.

Binod Kumar S/O Late Sh Heera Lal R/O Footh Path, Mangolpur, Delhi, aged 30 years is illiterate and married. His wife has left him because of his illegal activities. He is a person who disposes off the stolen vehicles besides stealing from the area along with Satbir Yadav. He used to change the number plate of the stolen vehicle in order to evade any identity.

One accused namely Santosh is still to be arrested and more cases are likely to be worked out.

2. One Scooter No. DL-8S-U-6700 make Bajaj Chetak (Grey Color), connected to case FIR No 744/08 u/s 379 IPC, PS Rohini, Delhi

3. One TSR NO. DL-1R-G-6281 (fake number plate bearing number DL 1R E 2816) make Bajaj CNG (Green & yellow colour) stolen vide FIR No 748/08 u/s 379 IPC, PS Rohini, Delhi

Blind Murder Mystery Solved: Two arrested, Country made pistol and live cartridge and mobile phone recovered.

With the arrest of Kamrul Hassan aged 28 years r/o Vill. Sakhni P.S. Jahangirabad, Distt. Buland Shahar U.P. and Gunjan Walia aged 26 years r/o 702, Puri Gali No. 2, Mauj Pur, Delhi, North East Distt. Police has worked out a blind murder case.

Incident

On 14.10.08 at about 10.16 A.M. an information was received at P.S. Seelampur that someone was shot dead by an unknown person at Jamalu Ka Bagh, Mauj Pur, Delhi. The D.D. entry was entrusted to ASI Kishan Singh of P.S. Seelampur who along with staff reached at the spot where a person aged about 30 years was lying dead at the spot. Near the dead body, motor cycle, helmet, blood etc. were lying. The dead body was identified as Anil Walia aged about 30 years, s/o Subhash Walia r/o 702, Puri Gali No. 2, Mauj Pur, Delhi. There was no eye witness on the spot and on the basis of DD entry a case vide FIR No.417/08 dated 14/10/08 u/s 302 IPC was registered at P.S. Seelam Pur and was taken up for investigation.

A team consisting of Inspr. Ved Singh Malik, SHO/Seelam Pur, Inspr. Dinesh Kumar, SI Satender Mohan, ASI Satyapal Singh, HC Virender Singh, Ct. Irfan Ahmed and Ct. Bir Singh was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Data Ram, ACP/Seelam Pur, Delhi.

Investigation

As it was a blind murder case, nobody from the place of occurrence came forward to give any clue about the culprits. So many criminals of the area were interrogated but no fruitful information could be received. During course of investigation the family members of deceased were interrogated and it was felt that the murderer is in between the family members of deceased. The sister-in-law (Bhabhi) of deceased namely Gunjan Walia was found to be non-cooperative. The call details of mobile phone of Gunjan Walia and other family members were obtained and it was held that on the day of incident and some days prior to the incident, she made so many calls from her mobile to the Kamrul Hassan above mentioned on his mobile. Search was made for Kamrul Hassan but he was not found at his rented room in Jafrabad, Delhi. Raids were conducted at several places and lastly on 31.10.08, Kamrul Hassan was apprehended from Iron

BridgeShastriPark, Delhi. During sustained interrogation, he disclosed that Gunjan Walia used to travel in his bus RTV for the last four years. She was a teacher in Ballimaran Chandni Chowk, Delhi. She fell in love with him and they developed illicit

relations with each other. Whenever they found chance, they developed illicit relations at different places. Before three years, they also got marriage (Nikkah) in Welcome. Gunjan Walia was having continuous relations with him. Anil Walia (brother-in-law, Dewar, of Gunjan Walia) came to know about these illicit relationships. He asked her sister-in-law to stop all these relationship. She became furious and she hatched a conspiracy with Kamrul Hassan and provided him all details about the way/motorcycle No. etc. of Anil Walia. On 14.10.08, accused Kamrul Hassan along with his associate Rizwan @ Bobby was waiting for Anil Walia near CrescentPublic School, Mauj Pur. At about 10.00 A.M., Gunjan Walia passed an information to Kamrul Hassan about the departure of Anil Walia from his home to his place of duty. When Anil Walia reached near CrescentPublic School, Mauj Pur, Rizwan @ Bobby restrained Anil Walia and Kamrul Hassan fired on his chest and throat. He was dead at the spot. Accused Gunjan Walia has also been arrested in the case. The motive behind the blind murder case was the illicit relationship between sister-in-law of deceased and Kamrul Hassan.

BLIND SENSATIONAL MURDER SOLVED BY NORTH WEST DISTRICT POLICE

With the arrest of (1) Balaji Khushal Chapre s/o Khushal Chapre r/o Plot No. 574, Desh pandey LayOut Vardhman Nagar Nagpur Maharashtra (age 50 yrs.) and (2) Prajwal Balaji Chapre s/o Balaji Khushal Chapre r/o Plot No. 574, Desh pandey LayOut Vardhman Nagar Nagpur Maharashtra (age 18 yrs.) North West District has solved a blind sensational murder case.

On 13.10.2008 an information was received at PS Maurya Enclave regarding some incident at Flat No. 13, Kasturba Residential Complex, Kasturba Polytechnic, Pitam Pura Delhi. On receipt of the information local police reached the spot and found the doors of the house were opened and the dead body of deceased M.G. Dekate, lecturer in Pant Polytechnic, Okhla, Delhi was found lying on the floor having multiple injuries over the body. The house hold articles were intact. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case a case vide FIR No. 23/2008 u/s 302 IPC P.S. Maurya Enclave was registered and the investigation was taken up.

A team consisting of Inspr. Ram Sunder, SHO/ Maurya Enclave, Inspr. Yash Pal Singh, Inspr. (Investigation), SI Ajay Kumar and Ct. Mahavir carried out the investigation under the supervision of Sh. R.K. Saini ACP/ Ashok Vihar. During the course of investigation, the colleagues, neighbours, relatives and friends of the deceased were interrogated. It was revealed that the deceased and his wife were having strained relations and the wife of deceased usually lived with her parents in Nagpur. Deceased had expressed fear to his life and property from his in laws to his friends and relatives.

Keeping in view of the above facts, the in laws of deceased were thoroughly interrogated. On sustained interrogation, Balaji Khushal Chapre, father in law of deceased and Prajwal Balaji Chapre, brother in law of deceased confessed their crime. It revealed that deceased was a learned person while his wife was less educated than him, due to this deceased didn't like her and wanted divorce. Prior to the day of incident, the culprits had heated arguments with the deceased over the telephone and they decided to eliminate him. In order to execute their plan, they reached Delhi in the afternoon on 12.10.2008. They visited the house of the deceased having knives, at around 9.30 PM and stayed with him at night and stabbed him. After committing the murder, the accused persons changed their clothes, kept the blood stained clothes in a polythene and left for Nagpur by train. While leaving, they also took the mobile phone of the deceased. During journey they threw that polythene bag, blood stained knife and mobile phone from the running train between Agra and Dholpur. The blood stained clothes of accused persons have been recovered at their instance from ParvatiBasin near Dholpur. The knife and mobile phone is yet to be recovered.

Accused Balaji Khushal Chapre is a vendor and runs a mobile STD PCO at Nagpur while his son Prajwal Balaji Chapre is a student of class XII in a school at Nagpur. Both the accused have been arrested for the above offence.
