Application: National Award - Chapter Recognition Award

This award is presented to a chapter in good standing within the Institute of Management Consultants. Reasons for receiving this award include:

  • Chapter performs a special event that promotes IMC USA and the consulting profession
  • Chapter contributes and plays a major role in IMC USA Chapter Operations that serves as an example to other chapters.

Requirement for Nomination: Recommendation of 3 IMC chapter members in good standing and the IMC USA Recognition and Awards Committee approval.

The process for awarding a Chapter Recognition Award requires that this application be delivered to the IMC USA Executive Director for submission to the Recognitions and Awards Committee. Upon approval, the Chapter President will be notified at least four weeks prior to the event at which the award is to be presented, (unless attendance of the recipient is confirmed and the award can be unexpected. For the award to be announced or awarded at a national conference or leadership summit, the application must be submitted 2 – 3 month prior to the event. The Chapter President will present the Chapter Certificate(s) of Achievement and Certificate(s) of Appreciation to recipients at the next Chapter meeting.

When a chapter award is approved, a copy of this application is retained by the Executive Director along with a copy of the IMC USA Recognition and Awards Committee approval.
