Notes for Fillingupthe「Application Form for Changes of Land Category」

  1. For the application of changes of land category, land owners or administrators shall fill the 「Application Form for Changes of Land Category」, affixed with certificates of land ownership and documents of evidence, to the competentregistry where the land is situated and pay fees. If there are constructional improvements, for which the usage license has been issued, on the site, theowners of constructional improvements may apply as deputies.
  2. Each column of 「Location of land」,「Originally registered and changed 」,「Land category」,「Grade」,「Area」,「Changed date」 and 「Reasons for changes」shall be filled in according to certificates of land ownership and documents of evidence. Whenever a plot of land is applied for partiallychanged therefore a subdivision is needed for indicating the exact area for change, an application for re-survey for subdivision shall be concurrently filed. The columnentitled「area」shall be filled in by the staff in the registry after the completion of the subdivision.
  3. The columnentitled「documents of evidence」shall be filled in with the names of documents of evidence related to the changes of land category besides certificates of land ownership.
  4. The columnentitled「Status of the applicants」shall be filled in with 「Landowners」, 「Co-owners of land」, 「Owners of constructional improvements」 or 「Agent」etc.
  5. The columnentitled「Scope of rights」shall be filled in「All」for the applicant who solely owns the land, whilst the share of the applicant shall be filled in if he co-owns the land with others.
  6. The columnentitled「Telephone」shall be filled in by the applicants as they wish, so that the staffs of all levels in the registry may promptly notify the applicant through telephone for correction in case they spot any minor mistake.
  7. Those columnsof 「Others」shall be filled in according to the data entered in theID card.
  8. Those columnsentitled「Result of joint investigation」and 「Treatment of this application」are left for all levels of the staff in the registry for signing their opinions and treatments after examination, the applicantsshall not fill in.
  9. If there are so many plots of land for application or there are many applicants so that the application form has not enough blank space for filling in, extra application forms shall be added with a seal to cover both forms.
