11.MOTION FROM COUNCIL

The following Motion was referred to the Environment Overview Group by Council at its Meeting on 19 December 2006 in the following terms:

“In view of the huge importance of the issue, the need to maximise awareness of it, and the urgent actions that will be required of this Council over the coming few years, we proposed that the celebrated film about Global Warming “An Inconvenient Truth”, the Al Gore film, be shown, if practical, as part of the next round of Area Committees, and that, if possible, it be made available (it is released on DVD in the New Year) for showing by staff of this Council at suitable venues, as requested.”

12.PLANNING OBLIGATIONS (RECREATIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS) SUB GROUP RECOMMENDATIONS

To note the recommendations of the Planning Obligations (Recreational Contributions) Sub Group (attached for information).

13.EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC AND PRESS

To consider the following resolution (if required):

“RESOLVED that, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it/they may involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph … of Part I of the said Act and the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it”
