Abdominal Organ Transplant Manager Opportunity in the Northern Plains

The Avera Transplant Institute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota offers serves the entire state and surrounding region with the area’s longest-standing kidney transplant program, South Dakota’s only pancreas transplant program, and well developed preparations for its liver transplant program. At Avera McKennan Hospital, the Transplant Institute also offers the only bone marrow transplant program in the Dakotas. Inpatient transplant services include two wings for this patient population. The Avera Transplant Institute is integrated at Plaza 3, in a dedicated four-story outpatient center for comprehensive organ disease services including practices in nephrology and dialysis, hepatology, endocrinology and diabetes services With multiple outreach sites and an expansive Avera telemedicine e-services network, patients need look no further when it comes to transplant services in the region.

The Transplant Manager will serve as a leader within the solid organ transplant program. Promote a professional practice environment that enable the multidisciplinary team members to continuously provide patient care excellence while enhancing the patient experience and physician and staff relations. Additional Responsibilities:

Provide management to ensure regulatory compliance for the continuum of transplantprogramming.

Lead process and performance improvement

Select, retain and develop high performing staff

Contribute to a strong patient-focused and team-based culture of .

Collaborate with Transplant Institute senior leader and management team, in strategic planning and financial stewardship.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited Nursing Program four-year college or university preferred.

Strong transplant and managerial operational experience preferred.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure preferred.

Transplant certification preferred.
