Rules of the Game

  1. All games will have a two-hour time limit. A new inning will not be started after the 1 hour 55 minute mark.
  1. There will be an eight after 5 inning mercy rule. There is no 3 inning rule.
  1. This tournament is free substitution. You may bat 9 or you can bat all players on the roster. Make sure you follow the rules for substitutions. (Keep them in order if they all bat)
  1. There will be no pitcher’s inning limit.
  1. Each team will flip for home/visitor during the pre-game meeting.
  1. There will be no infield prior to the games at the fields. Please be at the field 30 minutes prior to your game so we can start early if the previous game ends early.
  1. You may use the batting tunnels and soft toss nets at the fields, just be courteous to other teams and share. No spikes in the tunnels!
  1. Admission to the games will be $3.00 per day. The ticket will be allowed at any site for the day, so hang on to your tickets.
  1. There will be water provided for the teams in the dugouts at all sites. (NO COOLERS WILL BE ALLOWED INTO ANY OF THE SITES, THIS INCLUDES “TEAM COOLERS”) Coaches, please, help the site managers with this rule. It never fails that every year we have an argument with a parent about bringing a cooler into the site. The tournament is not only for our kids to get valuable playing experience, but for the host teams to try to raise some funds for their programs.
  1. When you play at the fields, please send a roster to the press box and we will announce the players.
  1. This is a tournament for players that have high school eligibility left.
  1. If it rains we will attempt to play all games but we will stay on the schedule. We will use Sundayas a makeup day.

Help us keep the parks clean by picking up your trash in the dugouts and around the field.

Please help us with foul balls on your side of the field.
