8th Grade Choreography Project

Now is your chance to become a choreographer!

Working alone as the choreographer, or with a partner, you will create a dance piece to demonstrate your skill, technique, and creativity. You may choreograph a duet, trio, or quartet. No solos! No more than two 8th grade choreographers per project. If you choose to be the choreographer for your project only, you must then dance in another project. Your piece should be 1 to 2 minutes long, develop a clear theme or idea, incorporate all of the elements of dance (space, time, force), use the principles of dance composition, and include music and costumes.
