26 th WAHOO WINTER GAME FISH COMPETITION

Come and join the Wahoo Club in celebrating our Annual migration to Cape Vidal

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please take note that you will be paying for your own accommodation….. Wahoo have booked the sites. Your entrants’ fee covers the competition entrance and all catering from Friday evening till after breakfast on Sunday. (Drink as much as you can)

Rules:

1)A briefing on Friday evening is compulsory and all competitors have to attend to qualify for the handing over of T-shirts and goody bags. Please do not offend other campers or NPB staff.

2)Normal spear fishing rules apply in the reserve and all spearo’s must be licensed. - Boat skipper’s additional license is a requirement. The competition will take place on Saturday 5th June and will be held from sunrise till the weigh-in at the community center at the Cape Vidal campsites at 4 o’clock sharp. Late arrivals will be disqualified.

3)No fish can win more than one prize e.g. if a fish is weighed in for the biggest fish it is then removed from that competitor’s bag and thus cannot be included for Biggest Bag if the competitor is eligible for the fish or its Species prize. Fish will be weighed ungutted.

4)The Wahoo Committee’s decision is final.

General

1)Competitors’ campsite and gate entry fees are for your own account

2)There is no need to pre-book a campsite as these have already been allocated. The procedure is to pay your camping fee before departure.

3)Comp entrants fee includes all comp-related items but exempts your KZN camping fees.

4)Please leave your ladies at home unless she is a competitor

5)The entry fee is not refundable.

6)Prizes will be allocated for boat, paddle ski and shore divers and will be detailed at the sign on.

7)Sign on is on Friday evening 4 th June at the Communal Hall from 6 pm and is compulsory (no attendance –no prize)
