Accommodation Camping is available at theEquestrian grounds. Limited powered sites are available.

MealsLunch, Dinner, Morning and Afternoon tea, water, cordial is supplied for riders. Meals available to non- riders at an extra cost (order form attached).

Bacon and Egg rolls will be available as an added cost for breakfast please refer to order form.

Everyone to supply own cutlery and crockery and be responsible for own washing up.

Campers are asked to bring their own esky/portable fridge as canteen fridge space or power points will not be available.

Canteen will be open for sale of drinks and icecreams.

Yardswill be allocated for horses and ponies. There is a limit of one yard per rider. If you wish to bring more than one horse/pony, you must provide the extra yard. Please note: No electric tape is allowed. Yards must be kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times and on departure. A $20 fine will be imposed if yards are not left tidy and clean of all manure and feed.

Equipment Required

For Rider: PCAWA approved helmet, riding boots, full PONY CLUB uniform, change of clothes for 3 days, waterproof jacket, towel and toiletries, note-book or work file and pencil case, camping gear and bedding.Please provide own CUTLERY AND CROCKERY AND TEA TOWEL

For Horse/Pony: Saddle, saddle blankets, bridle, halter, lead rope, vet box, grooming and tack cleaning gear, water bucket, feed bin, usual feeds (hard, hay), water-proof rug and pooper scooper. ALL ITEMS MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. The camp will commence at 7.30am on Tuesday 19th April for Introduction and Gear Check (for those with ridden lesson). The first lesson will begin at 8.00am.
  1. All riders must wear PCAWA approved helmets and boots at all times whilst mounted and in proximity of horses/ponies.
  1. This camp is open to all riders aged between 6 and 25 years, who are current financial members of a Pony Club in the South Eastern Zone. Riders must besufficiently competent to canter in open spaceand jump a small height. Riders weighing 53kg or more may not ride a pony under 12.2 hh.
  1. All riders are to wear their full Pony Club uniform on the FIRST day of the camp. Free dress (appropriate riding attire) on the second day and Polo shirts/XC shirts third day.
  1. Horses/Ponies must be over the age of 4 years. No rigs or stallions.
  1. Horses/ponies must be in a suitable physical condition to handle the workload for the 3 days of riding. No refunds after closing date without valid medical or veterinary certificate.
  1. All equipment used must be clean and in a safe condition and meet PCAWA Gear Check Guidelines as per current Matrix.
  1. All riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the camp. No Guardian/No Ride policy will be imposed. Handover guardian form must be completed at the office.
  1. No night-time supervision will be provided. Lights out will be at 9.30pm, and we ask that you respect those who wish to retire to bed early.
  1. Riders’ groups will be made at the discretion of the Camp Coach Coordinator.
  1. STRICTLY NO DOGS or other animals allowed – horses only please.
  1. Limited spots are available and entries will be taken on first in and paid basis.
