2005 Summer Workshop (PPT I) (“Newton group”)

July 11 -July 15, 2005, 8:00-3:30

July 16, 2004, 8:00-12:00

Watanabe 415

Goals:

  • Educate out-of-field high school physics teachers about physics
  • Test PPT curriculum

Objectives: TBD

Daily:

  • Review previous day & turn in homework (activity feedback forms)
  • Lunch (30 mins)
  • Write reflections in journals (no more than 5 minutes after each activity). Those doing a portfolio need to include their journals in their portfolios. Those not doing a portfolio need to turn in their journals at the end of the workshop.
  • Homework: Activity Feedback Forms for each activity completed that day.

Always need to bring:

  • Attendance sheet
  • Snacks
