Bank Deposits

  • When depositing large amount of coins, they need to be rolled. The bank offers free paper rolls.
  • For multiple check deposits, no need to write them out on the deposit slip – either run a calculator tape with each check amount listed or hand-write or type a printed list.
  • All checks should be made out to the troop selling and should include the signer’s phone number.

Misc Info

  • For any cookies checked out or money received, generate a receipt.
  • If you encounter problems collecting balances from families, please reach out to the SU team to aid in the resolution.
  • Parents and social media advertising – Parents may post on their private pages the location and time their child is selling cookies at a booth. Parents should not be posting on any sort of buy/sell/trade sites advertising they will meet buyers to sell them cookies. This is not the Girl Scout way nor is it safe for scouts.

Sibling Reward

  • For families with more than one Girl Scout selling cookies.
  • How it works:

Girl Scout 1 sells 150 boxes of cookies, she will receive the 25, 50, 100 and 150 reward. Girl Scout 2 sells 200 boxes of cookies, she will receive the 25, 50, 100, 150 and 200 reward. Collectively, they sold 350 boxes and will both receive the 350 box reward.

Please note: SMART COOKIES will generate an order for the individual girl rewards. Council will manually calculate the Sibling Reward and ensure both girls receive it with their rewards.
