OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNEROF THE 2015 IKANO ROBIN HOOD MARATHON & HALF MARATHON REVEALED

Race Organiser, Sweatshop has today announced Cancer Research UK as the official charity partnerof the 2015 Ikano Robin Hood Marathon & Half Marathon, taking place in Nottingham on Sunday 27th September.

Cancer Research UK is the world’s largest medical research charity. The charity hashelped to save millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, and survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years.

Judith Manson, Senior Operations Manager of Race Organiser Sweatshop, comments: “Every day in the UK there are more than 400 people diagnosed with cancer that will survive the disease for more than 10 years thanks to research. The partnership with Cancer Research UK will not only raise awareness for the importance of such research, it will also provide the opportunity for runners to raise vital funds for families and friends who suffer from this disease.”

Half Marathon: £31.75 (UKA affiliated club runners) / £29.75 for all other runners.

Marathon: £38 (UKA affiliated club runners) / £40 for all other runners.

In its 35thyear, the Robin Hood Half Marathon takes place in Nottingham on 27 September 2015. Registration is open now.

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is organised by Sweatshop, the UK’s largest specialist running retailer with shops nationwide.
