1100-Educational Philosophy

The community shall attempt to furnish the best possible educational program for all students regardless of race, color, religion, sex, disability or national origin, keeping uppermost in its mind the needs of the students and means available. The school shall have the responsibility of developing within its citizens an understanding of the responsibilities, rights, and dignity of American Citizenship.

A. Elimination of Discrimination.

The Lyons-Decatur Northeast Public Schools hereby gives this statement of compliance and intends to comply with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination. 1.  Purpose:

The Lyons-Decatur Northeast Public Schools is committed to offering employment and educational opportunity to its employees and students in a climate free of discrimination.
