Well, it’s newsletter time again. Time to bring everyone up to date with the happenings in Harbour Rise. Since the Annual General Meeting, we have created the Harbour Rise Website, details hereunder, so no excuse for being in the dark about anything ever again!

The site is self-explanatory – to access the members area you initially need to register, then login using your lot number and password. This will enable you to keep up to date with committee issues, minutes of meetings, social events etc. We trust you will enjoy your web site. Your input is welcomed!

ESTATE LANDSCAPING

STREET TREES – We have commenced the tree-planting program. Some were missed due to the stick provided by the landscapers, not being placed where the tree was to be planted. If you still do not have your tree, please contact Wayne from Russell Landscaping on 0412 473085 – and make arrangements for planting.

Please note that it is a requirement under Estate Covenants and Guidelines to have a street tree planted outside your home. We are endeavouring to create an attractive streetscape which on maturity of the trees will eventuate, and add considerable value in years to come. The trees need to be planted on the agreed alignment to create the best streetscape so please work co operatively with Wayne in getting this important landscape element in place.

LAWNS ON VERGES – cannot be buffalo – refer to your covenant, it must match estate lawns being a couch variety. It has been drawn to our attention that some people have used the wrong type of lawn and they will be advised by the gardening committee to change to the correct lawn.

NEW RELEASES

Our next land release will be in December, 2003. The Oahu Gardens Park with its feature lake should be completed by February. You can register your name with Fran at sales office for a price list to be forwarded to you prior to public release.

Refer to website plus we have enclosed a lift out map herewith.

Fran will give you all the relevant details of covenants and guidelines applying to the different precincts.

BUILDING PLAN APPROVALS

To those people who have not yet built, or are in the process, please make sure you have submitted your plans to the developer for approval, before going to council.

Please note that your builder may not be aware of this requirement. To avoid costly changes, it is your responsibility to make sure this happens.

HIGH SPEED INTERNET

Iwireless broadband internet is now available within the estate. The first home connected was in Lukin Drive, at the top of the estate, and the Sales Office has been connected this week. You can visit the sales office to see it in action – people interested in connecting can contact iwireless as per brochure herewith. This is the only way that High speed internet can be achieved in the estate at a reasonable cost as no cabling is available from theTelstra exchange

RE-SALE BLOCKS

You will be happy to know that most people who have chosen not to build and live in Harbour Rise have made healthy profits, way beyond their expectations. Through our constant connection with interested purchasers on our extensive data base we have been able to achieve quick and painless sales for them, plus deposit a healthy profit into their bank accounts!! Harbour Rise has been a huge success story and is expected to continue to record excellent growth in values into the future.

Estate Christmas Party!! – Sunday 21st December, 2003 (12noon) is the proposed date.

Come along to enjoy meeting your neighbours and share some exciting Harbour Rise experiences.

We thought we may do the same as last year utilising the tennis court park area.

A flyer will be delivered to residents. If you are not living in the estate as yet, and would like to be part of the Christmas Party, contact Fran and collect your flyer at the sales office.
