·  Typing Certificate showing 35 wpm net corrected speed. Please note that no on-line typing certifications are accepted. Certifications obtained through other companies are accepted as long as the test is a 5 minute test, no more than 5 errors. When errors are subtracted from the gross words per minute, the net result must be at least 35 words per minute.

SALARY: $19.10 per hour SCHEDULE: 6.5 hours per day: 180 days per year

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from High School or equivalent, and one year experience working with children.

PRIOR TO HIRE: Prior to start in a position, the District will obtain verification of the applicant’s freedom from tuberculosis; fingerprint the individual for processing by State and Federal agencies and receive the agencies’ report. (District paid)

BASIC FUNCTION

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide health services to free the school nurse from routine work related to the health program; administer routine first aid and emergency treatment to ill or injured students.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
