BATTLES OF WORLD WAR TWO

PRESENTATION

Your group will present to the class on one major “battle” of the Second World War. You must cover the main points of the battle, i.e. who, what, where, when, why, how.

Requirements

-Presentation using power point, prezi, or similar. Approximately 15 – 20 minutes.

- Handout for the class: You are required to provide the teacher / class with a handout that

summarizes the key information of the battle. (Length Minimum: one side of one page, but

more if needed.)

-What was the Canadian involvement (if any).

-Important historical figures.

-Important terms. Weapons, locations, groups or concepts. (ex. spitfire, Rommel)

-Its effect on the overall outcome of the war.
