Thank you Jan and the committee for inviting me to judge at the Goldie show.

As always lovely atmosphere. Even the rain dampened neither the spirits of the dogs nor the handlers.

A big thank you to my steward Pam who guided the competitors round four different rounds. Thanks also to the lady who scored and Sue the chief stay steward

Sadly the score sheets suffered badly from the rain and ended up like tissue paper and unreadable

so I apologise for the report being general. Ann Strachen

Beginners

The standard for this class was very good. Usually a high percentage of the dogs in this class get nagged round the ring but not today All the dogs worked in a happy and natural manner. Any of the top three could easily have won the class and the others not far behind

It is interesting to note that all these teams had been trained by a certain Maurice Sage It seems if you want to train a Goldie competitively you need to book a few lessons with him.

B & C

Some excellent work and well done on working your goldies at this standard. Being Goldies most had to do something wrong to alter the scores be it sendaway DC positions or scent but that doesn't take away from all of the dogs potential and certainly does not take away from the two winners

Well done
