Course structure and requirements

This course comprises 72 points structured in two parts. Part A: Mastery knowledge (48 points) and Part B: Application studies (24 points).

Students who have a minimum of two years relevant employment and have completed one of the following entry requirements may apply for up to 24 points credit under Part B: Application studies.

  1. A four-year Australian undergraduate honours degree or equivalent.
  2. An Australian bachelor degree or equivalent AND an Australian graduate certificate or equivalent in a cognate discipline.
  3. A one -year Australian honours degree or equivalent in a cognate discipline.

Electives at either Level 4 or 5 offered by the Monash Business School or across the University provided you have the prerequisites and there are no restrictions on admission to the units.

Note: Students intending to enrol in the research report require permission. Students must have completed at least 24 points, including MGX5000and achieved an average of 70 percent to progress to the research report. Students should discuss this option with the course director prior to enrolling

  • Graduate Certificate in Business (B4001) after successful completion of 24 points.
  • Graduate Diploma in Business (B5001) after successful completion of 48 points.
