Mission/ Purpose

/ The project is going to accomplish the operation and management along with the crucial considerations for the Milwaukee region wherein Amazing Coffee Houses plans to operate the ten stores. The project will assist in provisioning the requirement of resources in meeting the objective of the project with respect to operating the multiple stores in Milwaukee. The sales for ACH too need to be increased and maintenance of gross margin to the tune of 70%. The project must ascertain the requirements in the renovation and aid in the expenses being monitored well with respect to the budget.
The project is well associated to the overall strategic goals for the business of Amazing Coffee Houses (ACH). The various processes would be categorized basis sub processes with the activities associated with each one. The delivery timeline would be well monitored such that the adherence to the respective activities is done in accordance.
It is part of a program that is well associated with the meeting of objectives and ascertaining that the various processes and sub processes forming part of the project are well monitored.
SOW: Project
Description and Project Product / Amazing Coffee Houses (ACHs) is an established company in the coffee industry. The project will aid ACH to accomplish its goal of establishing 10 stores in Milwaukee after successfully in Chicago. The company has decided to expand into a zone which is more than 80 miles away from the Chicago base. The project would help in understanding the requirements of the project along with ascertaining if the goals and objectives ascertained are being met. The project would help the stakeholders in understanding about the project while making them aware of the deliverables and the progress at various stages of the project.
The outcome that is expected from the project is linked to the success of establishment of the stores in Milwaukee region. The wide range pertaining to the coffee flavors ranging from the dark to light roast must be made available at the setup along with the other products forming part of the company's kitty. The premier coffee experience needs to be provisioned to the customers at the budgeted cost. The various resources that would form part of the requisite have to be well monitored too so that the same fall within the budget. The renovation of the shop must take place as part of the budget allocated.
The work required for this project would need to be accomplished in various phases. The phases that would be categorized basis the crucial stages as that would fall necessary in the project. The five team members of the project would be responsible in delivering the requisites and the expected outcome in terms of delivery and timeliness can be well achieved.
The output that would be generated from the execution of the project would encompass -
(a)Increase in the sales by more than $125,00 and increasing margins up to 70%
(b)Provisioning quality service to the customers as they avail the services of ACH stores with the unique experience
(c)Planning the interiors for the coffee house to accommodate the bathrooms, coffee bar and a seating for 50 people
(d)Utilizing the available resources and keeping the activities as part of the objective within the range.
(e)Renovating the coffee shop to accommodate the sale and serving for donuts and coffee

Objectives

/ The objective that the project is designed for is to establish the coffee chain in Milwaukee and that these setups are worked upon with the best customer service for coffee and donut.
The high-level objective statement is linked to the satisfaction of the customers at the newly renovated coffee stores by Amazing Coffee Houses (ACH). The goals are linked to the maintenance of the gross margins of 70% and maintaining the various processes that need to run within the budget.
Business Need /

The reason as to why the project has been taken up is that the owners of ACH do not carry relevant experience in expansion of their coffee home outside the regions of Chicago. The project will help in appropriate allocation of resources and keeping the running cost for the process within the ascertained budget.

The business of ACH would be able to maintain the gross margins up to 70%. The expansion into Milwaukee area would ascertain that the sales for the company grow. With the modification of the business location, the expansion would aid in identifying the needs of customers who are coffee lovers.
There is a financial reason behind the conduct of the project. The project will be beneficial to the project owner as the project owner can gain the rich knowledge basis the responsibility of a project manager. The project would also require Jim to monitor the activities of five team members.
