First PTO Meeting of the Year

Come get to know other parents at the school and learn more about the PTO and parent volunteer opportunities. Babysitting is available for all of your children, not just Sylvan Park students. PTO meetings occur on every third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm.
Open House and Introduction to the PTO

Sylvan Park Auditorium
Come to the Auditorium for an introduction to the Sylvan Park Faculty and Staff as well as a few quick words from this year’s PTO Board. Then go to your child’s classroom to see work your student has prepared and talk with teachers.

“Welcome to 1979”recording studio
Save the Date for the 7th annual Silent Auction at Welcome to 1979 retro recording studio. Join us for food from local restaurants, libations and silent auction plus tours of the studio! This is an adult only event and babysitting will be provided. Be on the lookout for more information and also check out the PTO website for updates!

Spaghetti Fest – LED BY 2ND GRADE PARENTS!

This annual event is a blast! In addition to eating spaghetti, everyone can enjoy pony rides and other booth games, while mingling with the Sylvan Park community. This typically raises around $6,000.

Year-Long Activity
This program allows parents to donate money directly to the PTO. This is a tax deduction donation. Please consider making a donation of any amount – we are hoping for 100% participation. And check with your employer about matching gift opportunities! More detailed information to come!
City Saver Book Sales
August – September
This Nashville area coupon book offers lots of great deals at stores like Sport Seasons, Adventure Science Center, the Dog of Nashville, Pizza Perfect, Climb Nashville and much more! Last year, this fundraiser brought in over $10,000!
Dining and Shopping Nights
Year-Long Activity
Throughout the year Sylvan Park pairs with our fantastic neighborhood establishments for dining and shopping opportunities. We can usually expect 10-20% on the proceeds from sale receipts. These partnerships have included: Fabu on Charlotte, Moe’s and Sweet CeCe’s in Belle Meade Hill Center, and Local Taco in Sylvan Park.

With new and updated styles available for purchase, make sure to stock up for your child. All t-shirts and sweatshirts are considered SSA approved. Help support the school and keep your kiddo looking sharp all year long!
